frequently asked questions
Aquablast wet blasting is used in auto repair shops and service centres for cleaning turbochargers, brake calipers and engines — in manufacturing facilities for part cleaning after heat treatment, welding and cutting — and in restoration workshops for classic cars, antiques and historical items.
Wet blasting works with steel, cast iron, aluminium, stainless steel, plastics, ceramics and composites. Pressure is adjusted to suit the material — from heavy industrial components to delicate antiques with fine surface detail.
Unlike sandblasting, Aquablast vapor blasting does not damage surfaces or alter part geometry — water cushions the impact of the abrasive and flushes contaminants away simultaneously. No dust, no chemicals, suitable for indoor use. Glass beads are reused multiple times. Compared to manual cleaning, the result is consistent and processing speed is significantly higher.
Yes. You can visit us and bring your own parts — we'll clean them on the spot so you can see the result in person. Or simply send us your parts — we'll clean them and ship them back. Contact us to arrange either option.
