Aquablast is essential equipment for workshops specialising in engine, turbocharger and brake caliper repair. After disassembly, every part must be cleaned down to bare metal — only then is it possible to assess the true condition of the surface, detect cracks and identify signs of wear.
Unlike sandblasting, aquablast does not damage surfaces or alter part geometry. A turbo housing is cleaned in 5 minutes, a caliper in 10–15, a cylinder head in 20–30. Running costs are minimal: water, glass beads and electricity — approximately 19 PLN per hour. The result — the part looks brand new and is ready for assembly.
For manufacturing companies
In production, cleaning quality directly determines the quality of the final product. Aquablast is indispensable after heat treatment, welding and cutting — it removes scale, slag, burrs and carbon deposits without distorting parts or altering tolerances. Before painting or coating, the uniform matte texture ensures the best possible adhesion.
Results do not depend on the operator — consistent quality on every part is ideal for series production. No dust, no chemicals, and it can be used directly on the shop floor. Consumable cost — approximately 19 PLN per hour. Return on investment — 4 to 8 months.
